Kihei is one of Worldmark by Wyndham timeshare resorts. Maui is now a little easier to visit. Your new resort is located just off the Piilani Highway in the up-and-coming town of Kihei. This places it about 20 minutes from the airport. It has all the amenities you’ve come to expect, with the added benefits of being in Hawaii and just across the street from the beach. When you arrive on Maui, you’ll discover an island composed of two volcanoes, white-sand beaches, quiet villages where the residents still speak Hawaiian and colorful, bustling tourist centers. While there, you can watch for whales, golf at some of the world’s best courses, coast down a volcano on a mountain bike, tour a pineapple plantation, take a catamaran to a neighboring island, or tour Maui by helicopter. And don’t forget snorkeling, shopping, tennis, windsurfing, hiking, bodysurfing, scuba diving and horseback riding! Be warned—there’s so much to do, you’ll want to spend an extra week in Kihei.

Hawaii 2004
This was our first time to Hawaii and our first time taking a week vacation with Worldmark.

We made it a family vacation. We had a two bedroom condo. The room wasn't ready when we got there. Check-in is at 4pm. We didn’t mind at all. They took our bags, showed us where we could change and directed us to the beach across the street. When we came back, our bags were in the room.

Before we got to Hawaii, we made reservations over the phone with Worldmarks concierge at the resort. We got discounts on everything. We went to the Wailea luau. If you can make the reservation further a head of time and go to the Old Lahiana Luau. We also went snorkeling and snuba diving at the crater. The whole family was picked up in a chartered bus and taken to and from the resort.

Those of you who like quiet and heights go parasailing. Even the kids did it. 400 ft. in the air.
We also rented a car though Trendwest travel that we picked up at the airport. We took the drive to Hana and hit every water fall that we could see. We hiked to the ones we couldn't see. It's a long drive bring plenty of water and when your hungry pull over to a stand on the road. They'll serve you the catch of the day. The best Fish I've ever had.

After your worn out from the sight seeing go back to your resort. I read a book while the kids did arts and crafts and made candles out of coconuts. We all took advantage of the massages by the pool for a $1 a minute. Some of the family learned oh to scuba dive in the pool at the resort with an instructor.
Hawaii is just so beautiful. We want to again again with out the kids.
